Gidday… I wear many hats, and try my best to wear each one with integrity. Here I’ll share all the things I love to do in life, what I value most and what I’ve learnt along the way.
Most of this page was written by a friend (it’s hard to write about yourself) but I jump in to share too.

A Note from Renelle
Gidday, I’m Renelle, a Aussie snowboarder, surfer, speaker, mentor, health freak, biomechanics geek & energy coach.
At heart, I’m a deep thinker and a big fan of mother earth. My family call me the ‘voice of reason’. I have a logical brain that loves a challenge, a soft heart that never gives up, a wild spirit that always wants to play, and a soul that wants to shine – ready to go deeper.
I’m empathic and I love to use this superpower to educate, lead and inspire others to elevate beyond expectations and break through barriers.
Facing challenges, problem solving and overcoming limitations that others refuse is in my blood – it comes natural to me and makes me feel alive. I’m the one who patiently stands by – always educating – never giving up when others might choose to when the going gets tough.
My goal is to bring out the best in you; physically & mentally on the mountain, and emotionally as a human. I love to make you aware of just how amazing you truly are, on or off snow, and I’ve discovered the mountains are the ideal playground to illuminate the circumstances to learn these life skills.

25+ years teaching experience
Born and bred on the beautiful beaches of Australia’s Sunshine Coast, Renelle has an incredible connection with mother nature, formed at a very young age.
This special love and bond originated on the Australian beaches (family home is directly on the beach) and wild bushland. Her affinity for mountains & snow began on a one week holiday to the French Alps many years ago.
Since then Renelle has worked all around the world teaching snowboarders of all levels – this includes snowboarding over 25+ full winter seasons and 19 years of training and examining instructors for the British Association.
Not only is Renelle a super technical snowboard geek, she has the uncanny ability to teach this special connection to our earth with depth, vitality and integrity in a way that her students never forget.
A cut above
Renelle is one of the worlds leading snowboard coaches – a selected national-level technical representative who has coached, presented, and contributed to snowboarding on the international world stage. She also serves as a technical adviser to leading snowboard, goggle, and helmet brands.
A recognised coaching pioneer, Renelle was the first female snowboard instructor to successfully complete the intensive BASI selection process and be awarded Snowboard Instructor Trainer/Examiner, later also becoming a BASI Adaptive/Para Snowboard Instructor Trainer/Examiner.
Renelle also played a key role as one of the primary members in a seven-year Equality and Diversity campaign that helped drive lasting positive changes within British Snowsport Instruction.
National team member
Renelle is one of only two snowboarders selected on the 11-member BASI GB Technical Demonstration Team at the Interski World Congress in Levi. A exceptional honour recognising her national-level expertise and achievement to represent alongside the world’s best of the best Instructors.
There, she not only delivered an on-snow workshop on International snowboard technical riding standards (ISIA Level 3) and an off-snow workshop on Equality in Snowsports and within BASI. But also attended workshops from other countries, sharing knowledge alongside leading representatives from 33 nations.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE SUMMER?
Beyond the mountains
When the snow melts, Renelle usually migrates to the west coast of France to indulge in her second passion, surfing and travels internationally to deliver Indoor Snowboard Instructor Courses.
Having grown up on the beach, the ocean is in her veins and travel to incredible surfing destinations is always on the agenda. Skating to the beach, climbing, and downhill mountain biking are also high up there. Come and play!

Summer off-snow Coaching
Holistic Prep is summer off-snow coaching which supports the ‘behind the scenes’ side of performance snowboarding. Think of an athlete preparing for an event – we taking a in-depth rounded approach, not only working on-snow with the technical riding and tactical choices, but off snow with physical, psychological and equipment prep to enhance the riding experience.
On Snow
Become a 'stand out' rider on piste, off-piste and in the park. Confident and comfortable in all weathers (snow, fog or shine) and snow conditions (fresh groomies, pow, slush, bumps, ice etc).
Blended Learning
On-Snow + On-line, proven to be the most effect way for rapid transformation. Learn theory at home to ride more, chat less on snow.
